Use of Google Maps

On this website we use Google Maps. Google Maps is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter “Google”). This allows us to show you interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently.
Further information about data processing by Google can be found in the Google data protection information: https://policies.google.com/privacy . There you can also change your personal data protection settings in the data protection center.

Detailed instructions for managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found here: https://www.dataliberation.org

By visiting the website, Google receives information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account.

If you do not want your profile to be assigned to Google, you must log out of Google before activating the button. Google saves your data as usage profiles and uses them for advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of its websites. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide tailored advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; to exercise this you must contact Google.

Revocation of consent:

The provider currently does not offer an option for a simple opt-out or blocking data transmission. If you want to prevent your activities on our website from being tracked, please revoke your consent for the relevant cookie category or for all technically unnecessary cookies and data transfers in the cookie consent tool. In this case, however, you may not be able to use our website or may only be able to use it to a limited extent.

Social media plug-ins

On this website, we use social plug-ins from the social networks Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter f of the GDPR in order to make ourselves better known. The underlying advertising purpose corresponds to our legitimate interest, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The responsibility for the data protection-compliant operation of the social networks must be ensured by their respective providers.

These plug-ins are integrated using the so-called two-click method in order to protect users as best as possible. This means that when a user visits our site, no personal data is initially transmitted to the plug-in providers. Users can recognize the provider of the plug-in by the marking on the box using its first letter or the respective logo (e.g. for Facebook: white “f” on a blue tile or a “thumbs up” sign). We give users the opportunity to communicate directly with the plug-in provider using the button. Only when a user clicks on the marked field and thereby activates it will the plug-in provider receive the information that a user has accessed the corresponding website of our online offering. In addition, personal data (in particular the IP address) is then transmitted to the provider of the respective plug-in. Some providers anonymize the IP address immediately after it has been collected. By activating the plug-in, the user's personal data may be transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (for US providers in the USA). Since the plug-in provider collects data primarily via cookies, we recommend that users delete all cookies via their browser's security settings before clicking on the grayed out box.

We have no influence on the data collected and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing, or the storage periods of the plug-in providers. We also have no information about the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider.

The respective plug-in provider saves the data collected about users of our online offering as usage profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of its own website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (also for users who are not logged in) to display tailored advertising and to inform other users of the social network about the users' activities on our website. Users have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; in order to exercise this right, a user must contact the respective plug-in provider directly. Through the plug-ins, we offer users the opportunity to interact with social networks and other users, so that we can improve our offering and make it more interesting for our users.

The data is passed on regardless of whether users have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in there. If users are logged in to the plug-in provider, the data we collect from them will be assigned directly to their existing accounts with the plug-in provider. If a user presses the activated button and e.g. For example, if the page is linked, the plug-in provider also stores this information in the relevant user account and shares it publicly with the user's contacts. We therefore recommend logging out regularly after using a social network, but especially before activating the button, as this can avoid being assigned to the profile with the plug-in provider.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by the plug-in providers is contained in the data protection declarations of these providers provided below. There you can also find further information about the rights of users and the setting options to protect privacy within these networks.
